PURE

PURE is the University’s research information system and open access repository. It captures a wide range of research-related outcomes and activities, and promotes the University’s research to the wider community via its external portal. 

PURE allows networks of links to be built between people, outputs, activities, grants, datasets, organisations and more. It is a rich and dynamic source of information on Huddersfield’s research and underpins many of the University’s processes, including submission to the Research Excellence Framework (REF). 

PURE accounts are automatically created for all academic staff on teaching and research/research-only, contracts. Support staff do not have a personal PURE account as standard.

Pure is managed by the Research Innovation and Knowledge Exchange service.
