The University of Huddersfield is committed to creating a vibrant, diverse community of staff and students within a supportive and inclusive learning and working environment. We believe that equality, diversity, and inclusion are fundamental to academic excellence and personal growth. This theme brings together a range of courses, programmes, e-learning opportunities, and resources designed to deepen understanding of key EDI topics and issues. By engaging with these materials, staff and students can develop the knowledge and confidence to champion inclusivity, challenge discrimination, and contribute to a culture where everyone feels valued and respected.
The Researcher Development Framework (RDF) is a professional development framework for researchers in higher education. This theme supports the following domains on the RDF: Domain B - Personal Effectiveness and Domain D - Engagement, Influence and Impact.
