Exploring the Prosper Portal for Career Development

Who is this course aimed at?

Academic Staff
Researcher Only Staff
Postdocs/ECRs/late-stage PGRs

What is this course about?

This session will introduce you to the Prosper portal, an online hub of resources designed to support postdocs in developing their potential across multiple career pathways. You’ll discover how Prosper can help you Reflect (build self-awareness and identify career goals), Explore (broaden your knowledge of possible careers and key skillsets) and Act (empower you to get to where you want to go).

You will learn how Prosper can be personalised for you and hear about some of the most popular resources with postdocs to help get you started. For anyone interested, there will also be the opportunity to sign up to a Prosper peer group to support ongoing development.

Prosper was designed specifically with postdocs in mind but the available resources are likely to be of wider relevance to other Early Career Researchers (ECRs) or late-stage PGRs.
