This course is an introduction to public engagement, aimed at helping participants develop the skills necessary to plan and deliver effective public engagement projects. Attendees will gain insight into the key principles and practices of engaging with the public, while also learning about the University's Public Engagement Strategy. The course will cover the essentials of project planning, including identifying target audiences, setting objectives, and measuring impact. Participants will be guided through practical exercises and case studies to enhance their understanding and application of public engagement techniques.
