Mental Health First Aid (Part 1)

What is this course about?


To register your interest please contact People & Organisational Development (P&OD) at people@hud.ac.uk.
Learners will be sent a link to register on the course with MHFA England. Once registered materials will be purchased at £21.50 per learner and will be recharged to the learner's School/Service. Your line manager will need to agree your attendance ahead of booking due to the costs involved.

You must ensure that you register for all parts of this course via the 'MHFA England' website at least a week before the course. The link for each date will be sent to you separately.

There is no need to book onto iTrent via MyHR, this course will be recorded on your CPD record following your attendance.

Objectives

  • Learn about tools to signpost people to for support.
  • Learn how to boost and support employee wellbeing
  • Spot signs of a person experiencing poor mental health and have the confidence to start a conversation.
