What is this course about?

This session explores how to evidence the significance and reach of research in compelling and credible ways. Participants will be guided through methods for gathering both qualitative and quantitative data, and learn creative approaches to presenting impact, from case studies and testimonials to visualisations.

The aim is to equip researchers with the tools to substantiate claims, strengthen funding applications, and communicate impact effectively to different audiences.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • A knowledge of different types and sources of data that can be used to evidence research impact.
  • Confidence to identify and apply suitable methods for collecting robust impact evidence relevant to your own research and pathway to impact.
  • Develop a clear value proposition that communicates the benefits of their research to diverse audiences.
