What is this course about?
These sessions provide you with an hour of dedicated time to progress a writing project or goal within a supportive environment. Bring along your writing tools (laptop or pen and paper!) and some writing you’re doing at the moment and see what you can achieve whilst working alongside others. Your writing could be a research paper, book chapter, funding application or any other writing project you’re working on.Please note: these Writing Hours do not provide any specific writing guidance; they are offered to encourage you to be proactive about writing and protect some time for this as part of your working day.
Objectives
Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
- Spend focused time progressing an individual writing project or goal.
- Take part in two short timed writing slots.
- Write alongside other researchers and acknowledge the time you have collectively spent writing.
