What is this course about?

As Early Career Researchers, your work matters and so does the way you present yourself and your research to the world. In this workshop, we'll guide you through developing a strong professional profile and 'branding' that reflects you as an individual and the value of your research.

Through practical exercises, you'll identify your unique skills and experiences that contribute to your personal and professional identity, align your identity with your research and communicate effectively across academic, professional and public platforms.

  • Define your transferable skills & professional identity to help craft a personal 'brand' that integrates your personality and professional goals.
  • Learn strategies for presenting yourself effectively to different audiences.
  • Maintain a consistent and authentic presence, both online and offline.
