Introduction to Pure

Who is this course aimed at?

Academic staff who have a Pure profile (i.e. are on a research-only or teaching and research contract)

What is this course about?

Pure is the University of Huddersfield’s research information system. It is comprised of a back end where researchers can edit their profiles and upload research activities, and a public-facing Research Portal that showcases the University’s research. The Portal also serves as an open access repository, ensuring our research is freely accessible worldwide.

Designed for staff on research-only or teaching and research contracts, this session focuses on maintaining your own profile in Pure.

None.

Objectives

Here is what you can expect by attending this course:
  • Be aware of how to maintain a complete and up-to-date Pure profile which includes all your outputs and research activities.
  • Deposit your publications in line with policy and funder requirements.
  • Find further support and guidance for using Pure effectively.
