Many research funders (including UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the Wellcome Trust, National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), Horizon Europe, and more) have open access policies, which must be followed when publishing funded research.This session is designed for researchers who understand the fundamentals of open access but need help navigating the specific requirements of their funder. It will outline the basics of major funder policies, from journal articles to open data, and highlight the support available to University of Huddersfield researchers.
