What is this course about?
'Development focused’ is one of nine key personal and professional values and behaviours of effective researchers outlined within the Vitae Researcher Development Framework (RDF). But what does this really mean and why is it important? This session will introduce the RDF as a tool to support ongoing development, examine what it means to be development-focused and explore how this might vary for researchers at different career stages.
You will be encouraged to analyse development needs and priorities as a researcher (either for yourself, or others you are working with) and consider some of the different development opportunities that are available to Huddersfield researchers.
