What is this course about?
Open research is a movement which encourages accessibility and transparency in academia. This includes ‘open access’, which is the practice of making scholarly outputs freely available for anyone to read and re-use. This session will introduce the basics of open research, outline its many benefits, and demonstrate how you can engage in open practice.Details of any pre-course/programme requirements

- Identify which open routes are available to you when publishing, from sharing your manuscript in a repository to making use of available funding for journal publications.
- Navigate the open research landscape and understand why openness matters.
